Under the Sea

Mermaids, sea turtles, bubbles, seaweed, fish, dolphins.....an under the sae themed room can be calming, or fun! Adding glitter to bubbles to make them shimmer, encrusting a mermaids hair with jewels from buried treasure to make her sparkle...there are so many possibilities for an ocean inspired room!

Mermaid Bathroom

This small mural was painted in the bathroom of a very dear friend of mine. They live on the boardwalk in Long Beach on the peninsula, and their house is designed with a retro beach feel...bamboo floors, tropical fabrics, and they have an impressive collection of Shag artwork. The mermaid for the bathroom was designed by me with their personalities and design likes in mind, a little funky and a very big focal point in a small room. As you can see below, they love her!

A website is just too hard to keep up!

So, I have decided to blog about it. As the owner and artist operating Posh Paint Designs, there are way too many hats for me to wear each day, and keeping my websites up and running is practically impossible. Not only is it frustrating, but the people behind the scenes seem to want to make me lose business daily, so at least I can control this on my own!

I am using this blog however to showcase my portfolio in all it's extended glory, as I have been painting murals professionally for 13+ years.
