Simple Safari

This room was painted a yellowish green color, and then we just painted the assorted animals
right on the solid paint, rather than doing a mural that covered every square inch of wall. This is a very practical way of doing things, saving my labor and your money, and gives you a very fun room at the same time. You really don't lose anything with this method of painting a mural.

Wastin' Away Again in Margaritaville....

Well, except for we swapped the margarita for a Corona bottle. Still refreshing! This mural was for a young adult, and the room looks about 10 times bigger with the mural on one wall. I wrapped it around the edges of both sides and faded it out with strong burshstrokes against the sand colored walls. Here I took photos of the process: No paint, sky, sky + ocean, sky + ocean + sand, finished mural.

The detail shots of this mural include a Sea Plane, hammock, plam trees, wooden beach chair with a parrot, Corona bottle (including the limes and bottle cap!).
